2002 Boxster S Lug Bolts

Anyone know where to get some lug bolts for the Boxster. Also, what is the size and length needed (I think they are 14mm). I've tried Pep Boys, Autozone, Advanced Auto, Napa, etc...with no luck. Just got my ride delivered to me and it is missing the locking nut and lug bolt on each of the rear wheels...so I am looking to get these installed before enjoying my ride. Regards

Anyone know how to fix that with a nice looking lug bolt also with the spherical slip washer like the OEM?

"Yep, those look like the original lousy, corrosion prone bolts on my car."

couple of options......

- go with chrome bolts - can get expensive though
- chrome caps or color caps - not the easiest as you need to take on/off
- re-paint 'em yourself (beer bottles make great stands so get prepping :D )

if going w/ chrome or just repainting yours, be sure to pick up a "soft" 19mm lug socket to prevent chipping in the future. Pelican has 'em as do other places (I think Vertex, Automotion, etc.)

Make sure that the previous owner did not install spacers on wheels before buying the standard length locking lugs. If there are spacers installed, take one lug out and meaure it. Common reasons for eliminating locking lug bolts are 1) spacers and 2) they are annoying if you the remove wheels often.

I've a complete set of 20 plus locks. All powdercoated light grey that have never been mounted.

Let me know, if interested.
