anyone ever relocated the CD changer?

its so anoying to have to open the hood to change a CD.
has anyone ever relocated it somewhere in the cabin?
where would be a good spot?

Another option is to run a rca to headphone jack cable from the CD changer into the cabin. The cable is $5 at Walmart or elsewhere. Then you can use a MP3 player and play it through the CDC setting on the stereo. A 1gb MP3 player holds I think maybe 15 albums I think and is $30 or so? One cd has to be in the changer and the power lead to the changer needs to stay in place but it plays great and eliminates having to change any cds. Running th ecable takes about 5 min. Of course you can use the becker adapter also but it would take more time and you have to remove the radio.

I don't see shy you couldn't move the CD changer location. But I can't think of anywhere to practical to move it to unless you put it under the passenger seat, but then you would have to lift the seat up all the way to access it.

maybe under the dash on the passenger side? or behind the passenger seat...?

I love that RCA to 1/8" jack for an IPOD idea. I can not believe I never thought of that. As long as you have the changer loaded and just hit play on it, it will have no idea that it is not putting out any output and the radio will get input from your mp3 player. Now I just need to put my 3.4 in the car so drive it again and enjoy both. :)
