Light Burn

So I guess its a bit common for the Boxster headlights, to acquire burn marks after a time. Was wondering why that was? Is it just time and heat? Can the burn marks be avoided or minimized in any way?

The Burn mark on the inner lense if from having a low beam installed which has too high wattage than recommended, I believe the highest amount fo watts for our headlights is 55watts but i've managed to burn them still with 55watts, so i recommend lower than 55 watts.

CJ, Thanks did not know that. Very useful, will have too look into lower wattage, I can just barely start to see some slight burns in there.

Ah, Good thing you asked sooner than later, Unlike me where i noticed it and didnt think much of it till it burned a hole on the inner lense
