what is the part name for the pocket in the dash
 

The pocket that would replace the 4 cd holder I have instead. I looked for one on ebay but, I'm not sure what it's called and came up with no results. I have a V1 radar detector and just got a concealed display. I'm going to wire it all up this weekend but, would like to custom mold it into a pocket and sell the cd storage. Due to the limited space inside the boxster, I think that's the only clean way to mount it, other than the etched rearview mirror.

The Porsche parts catalog calls them a 'shelf'.
The upper shelf is part #:996.552.253.01 01C satin black.
The lower shelf is part #:996.552.243.01 01C satin black.
The part numbers are different if you have leather.

You could also mold it into the batwing under your bottom storage unit.
