Wheel Offset Question
I need a second set of 17" wheels since I've decided I *must* drive my baby every week, and I don't want to remount tires twice a year. My manual says the rim offset for the front is 55mm and for the rear it has two listings for 48mm and 50mm.
Tirerack has some wheels (17" Sport Edition Cup 3) that look exactly like the ones I have, but the listed offsets are front - 52mm; and rear - 47mm. Will I need spacers? And is there a way to find out what the actual offsets are on the wheels I already have? Thanks for any advice. |

They should fit just fine. Offsets get critical as you push the widths to maximum, but I presume you are keeping with the narrower wheels since they're 17s.

Yes, I'm not planning on changing the width. Thanks for the help!

The width and offset are also indicated next to the valve stem on your OEM stock wheels. Take a look and see what you currently have.
