I am sure he thinks it is a show car, but what kind of show would condone this? Nothing is custom, its a JC whitney/local toy store medley of 12v electronics tapped into anything anywhere.

This is what happens when the cost of a boxster falls below the 15k mark.

I simply meant, if the high school "car show" kids get to chose between the civic and the boxster, they will start choosing the boxster for the cheap pizzazz and this will happen.

Most parents or kids won't pay the insurance difference.

And I agree it is ugly.

Most honda driving kids hate on the Boxster, so I doubt it was a kid. Now what's up with the trophy in front of the car in the second pic? You gotta be kidding me if that thing actually one something creditable lol

actually insurance on boxster is lower than what was on a all wheel drive WRX i had for few weeks, so i dunno.

I think that funky green and yellow russian one is still uglier....both is deffintely ugly.

It looks more like a playpen. All it needs is one of those toddler mobiles hanging from the rear view mirror to complete "The Look".

I think video and multimedia entertainment for the driver has been overlooked for too long. Look how long it took to realize the importance of cup holders. Focusing on driving can be very exhausting.

And hey, great color choice in mats. Very sophisticated.

What's up with that thing on the shifter? What is that?

It's an ugly shifter they added that is supposed to look like the part from a 6-shooter revolver. You know, when you would load the bullets. It has fake bullets in it to. Totally stupid. I once saw these being used on a "Jessie James" Motorcycle, it looked cool and appropriate on a custom chopper but NO WAY on a Porsche. :cheers:

Here is another view of what not to do to your Boxster at a car show. It has so much chrome crap on it. This owner should be shot. Chrome spider web graphics on the doors and hood, guess because he thinks his car is a "SPYDER" Boxster. Also chrome windshield wipers, trim in the doors too. Extra fog lights mounted in the center front plate. You be the judge...the really sad thing is all those trophies he has. Just goes to show you there is no such thing as good taste when it comes to a car show.

The projector is a total copy of Pimp my Ride. You have to have a reverse hindge hood to do it properly. That car just looks like :barf: :barf: :barf:

Doesn't look very comfortable to use to shift when you drive. I was kind of hoping it was some kind of silver Pez dispenser. I wanted to see about getting a Boxster with the "gamer" package, complete with Pez dispenser, so I can nourish myself properly while driving around playing Warcraft.

oh, no, I didn't notice that it was a projector at first. What do you do, stop in the Wal-Mart parking lot and play porn or something?

I decided that the trophies are given by the distributors that sold all the crap products - he who spends the most wins. I guess. Its the only thing that makes sense.
