9eighty6 Registered User Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: South FL Posts: 253	VIN # Explanation? Hi Everybody - Just wondering if anyone can explain the VIN# of the boxster to me. I am mistifyed beyond the "U" for Finland-built and "S" for Stuttgart-built. Any help would be awesome. I want to know what # my car was off of the assembly line if possible. Thanks in Advance! __________________ 1984 - 944 - The first one. 1984 - 928S - The loudest one. 2001 - Boxster - The best one.
