Howdy and a question

Hi folks, just got a 2000 Boxster S and am enjoying the Porsche experience again after selling my 914-6 many years ago. Nice to have a car with the engine where it belongs!

Anyway, this seems to be a great website. I'm looking forward to future participation.

As to the question; I need to get a car cover and have done some research on various makes and materials. What I can't find is any info on the Porsche silver cover. Does anyone here know if it is home machine washable?

Thanks,

CW

The PPBB forum has a plethora of car cover answers.

This forum is basically for the Boxster people who either will work [repair] there Boxster or try to enhance the performance of it.

If you would like any of those types of questions answered you have come to the right place.

Ummm....what's the PPBB forum? How do I get there? And isn't this the General forum? I'd have thought the Performance forum would handle the DIY/Tuner stuff. BTW, nice quote, ColdWarrior.

go there. although i thought this was a general "anything and everything" forum about boxsters as well. i knew renntech was technical, but felt that i could get just as many quality answers here.

If you do a search on car covers here, it will be far and few in between.

But on the above mentioned board, car covers come up daily.

Thanks to all that replied. The PPBB link was a great resource. I've decided on an Evolution car cover material, will post later as to how it works out.

Again, thanks alot
