Exporting a 986 back to Europe

Does anyone know of any issues of exporting a Boxter back to Europe (specifically Netherlands) with me when I leave next year? In particular, doe the US version meet all European emissions regulations (I am assuming that it does)....

Contact customs in the Netherlands, I'm sure they have a list of requirements for importing cars.
