Members of this forum may be as mature as those who get their universal knowledge questioned and take their thread ang go home. There were none of the posted rules broken, why was the Joe Torre thread stopped?

Yeah, I was a little miffed about that too. But, not surprised. You see, Brucelee owns this Place, and he rules with a very heavy hand. It is his way or the highway. Take it or leave it. He has a tough job, and many Forum Members think he does a great job.

Your opinion differed from his. He owns the Forum. Got the last word in. And then put it on lock down.

Sorry, that is just the way it is sometimes.

Bill, you stated it well. This ain't no democracy. If the owners don't like the thread, it goes away even if it is well within the posted rules.

It doesn't happen very often though. One should remember that.

The other side of the coin is that BruceLee doesn't allow any flaming or BS here, which is so very different from all the other forums in which I have participated.
