If ya just can't get over the movie...I guess. Lot of man hours in that rig, though.

I had a couple, I loved them at the time but no way 100k plus kind of love. Man the flash back of the prism dash and shifter plate just went through my head. :D

The T/As and Z-28s of that era are gaining mucho popularity. They're predicted to be the next hot collectable rides, as guys my age are looking to relive their high school days.

My brother and I have been making a killing parting them out to people who need stuff for their restorations.

Year One doesn't build junk. They're the real deal. If you like musclecars and you ever get the chance, go to one of their events in Braselton GA. It's a blast!

It is surprising that there are a few companies that are rebuilding "legendary" cars. I really like the old Trans Am, but can't say I could afford it. I also like the work I've seen from the company producing the General Lee. A few months ago, I read an article about a company in Texas that bought all the DeLorian (sp?) parts and is remanufacturing those cars, too. Interesting stuff out there.

I concur - I was recently looking to pick up an old T/A or Z-28 and was amazed at how much the price has come up over the past few years. These are not $1,500 bargains anymore.
