Engine oil level

When I Oil changed my car I initialy put 9qts of oil but after a while I realized it was not all the way to the top on the speedo display. It wasnt to the top arrow. I read the manual and it said 9.3qt so i put roughly .3 more and now its above the top arrow. is this ok?

Garage
To much oil shouldn't be a problem, mine was reading above the line after my oil change.

Assuming your electronic indicator is working properly, you want to be one line below the top. Always trust the dipstick (if you have one, sorry 987 folks)
