Thumbs up 2010 Boxster

The new 2010 Boxster is featured on the cover of Road and Track this new issue. The looks are smoking hot. A trace of Carrera GT in the front talking of S model to be in the 315 hp. I will wait for this model for sure. Enjoy !

Wow

I might have to take a drive to the gas station and pick up that issue tonight. The car looks great at first, very small, glance. I certainly like the prospect of 310hp. Gotta do something when you are getting beat by the BMW 1-SERIES!! Tenth of a second I know but it is a matter of principle. They are set to put out a rag top version of the 135 in 2010...hmm wonder what market it is they are trying to get in?? They are still sitting a bit heavy at 3200lbs. No I am not going to talk about MSRPs. I am almost sad enough to put up a sadface thing...almost.

Here's a pic of the cover I snagged off the net...

I WANT ONE. This issue of C&D is like car porn! A teaser pic on the front and very little typesetting on the inside about it

I've read it. Posted the following rant on another forum:

This is one of the things I don't like very much about R&T (I'm a subscriber). They repeatedly put up new never before seen pics of a car on the cover, making the readers think that there are going to be more pics, detailed writeup, specs etc. inside, but in reality you end up with a half a page of mostly generalized statements (think politicians).

The thing I did like about this issue was the detailed writeup on the 986 boxsters. It was an excellent summary of the issues with the car, the fun factor, used car prices for different model years etc. -- very good read for someone looking for a used boxster, or those new to the fold (although I must admit that those who frequent the boxster forums would not be learning anything new).

I don't see why it wouldn't look that. It's not really that much of a stretch in design....
...and I also think it looks really great given its CGT-like mug!

Looks sweet! Only a couple of years away too. Even if this is a conceptual look or a prototype I like where they are going with the styling.
