airbag light is on after setbelt change
So I replaced my stuck passengers side seat belt with a new one. ($200)
I even read the post which told me to disconnect the battery before making the change (and did that)
Well, now I see that I should have left the battery disconnected for 15 minutes before changing the seat belt (which I didn't)
Long story short: Now my airbag warning light stays on
Is there anyone around with a Durametric tool who can reset the light, so that I don't have to give my "friendly neighborhood Porsche dealer" $100 for that?
(I live in San Carlos and work in Santa Clara)
Thanks in advance

airbag light
Many thanks from me too,
maybe we should plan a meet, and get rid off the airbag lights all together. I will bring the beer, wait.. no drunk driving, change that to Coke.
I am located on the intersection of 237 and 880.

Holy Cow $200? The part is something like $45 tops at Sunset in Oregon!

Nope, the $45 part is the seatbelt receptor.
The seatbelt is $128 + $50 for shipping (hazardous material) @ Suncoast + 1 week wait time.
So in the end it was easier and much quicker for me to pick one up at my local Porsche dealer.
But you're not alone: Jeff @ Suncoast was making the same mistake initially

Some of the local guys come by my office near the San Jose Arena at lunch time and we hook up the machine to the cars parking lot, to see if you have been naughtly or nice. Erase fault codes. Turn stuff on. Or, we do it a at work on cars day.
I don't want to receive 100 PMs. I don't want to do this every day. I don't want an owner who is "interested" and then does not show up.
Get a few local cars together and we can do them all at the same time.

ToolPants,
Sorry, I didn't want to bother you;
So I decided to rather order the Durametric software, should arrive on Monday.

Go to advance, pep boys, or autozone. They will reset the code for free, in like 10 sec.
