Gauge Face Question

I've seen colored gauge faces for the Boxster. I expect they were a factory option. Does anyone know of another source other than the factory?
Thanks for any info.

(You'll have to scroll down on the left hand side to see the Porsche Boxster gauges)

There are probably a lot of places to find gauge faces. IMO, they're all priced about four times more than they're worth. I got my techart faces (silver) for $59 off eBay one morning at 2:45 am on night a couple of years ago. NR Auto is $169 per set.

I pulled this site from Excellence magazine, but a lot of others come up in Google searches.

Here's another: http://meistergaugefaces.com/html/gaugefaces/996.html

Try here. Good service and some gauge faces come one sale. Note that the lettering is a little different from the original.

Also, be extremely careful when changing them out...dial motors can be fragile.

Dude don't change them out unless it's a MUST DO mod for you.

It's too easy to misalign the needles when reinstalling everything. Once you've misaligned them it's over, get ready for a pain in the a55.

Gauge Faces

Thanks all for replies ... Blinkwatt, will heed your caution. Have changed them out on my Miata following Miata.net advice with no problem, however???
