Daytime running light problem
 

I've got an 03 Boxster with xenon lights. Yesterday I noticed that when I select Hi-beams on, the top/gas part of the headlight goes out & I'm left with very dim lights. This does not happen when I pull to flash the lights. The lights also go off completly when in the off position ( something that was not possible before ) . I'm guessing possibly a fuse, but I'm looking for suggestions before I go see the dealer.

Sounds like a fault with the headlight switch.

Thanks for the reply. That sounds logical. I guess I'll have to bring it in for a diagnostic.
