Aluminum Pedals?

I was contemplating ordering a set of aluminum pedals for my 02 S.
I have read alot on the brands but didn't find much real-world advice nor ratings from actual users and their experiences. I have seen the ones at Suncoast which are the "CarCrafter" for $298.95 (slip-on, snap-on) then I have seen the other brands such as Carnewal and RUF.

What is the preferred brand to use, how much and do you have to use the "drill" the pedal kind to ensure a sure fit? Any opinions and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

They are really easy to install simply remove the rubber pedal drill through the metal and screw them in.

Simple install.

I'll help you on any mod I live in Walker so i'm only an hour from you.

Thanks, Gary. If you can help me with the pedals (just bought a set from Ultimate Pedals) - went with the shiny anti-slip with the rubber dome inserts...I would be extremely thankful. I can at least buy you lunch and some beer for the help! :D

You have one heck of a ride there......I also bought the rear "deambering" tailight kit from Suncoast.....so maybe we can tackle that quick job as well....

email me or PM for contact info...

Thanks so much, Gary. You are a class act.

Just to let you know...Rob from UltimatePedals (no affiliation) was extremely helpful in my ordering process. I am getting the "Boxster S" script put onto the dead pedal for extra $10. I will be in the "run" for this weeks production as everything is custom machined and finished, nothing ever "in stock" --- So hopefully will be done either Friday or Monday then shipped 2nd day air. Not a bad deal at all, I think I was out of the door including engraving for $265 for the whole set. Looks like super quality for the price IMHO.

Will take pics of the project and advise when it all comes in.
