Spark plugs, best "stock" for SC'd boxster
Hello,
I’m looking for the longest lasting spark plugs that could be considered “stock”. I’m going to be supercharging my 99 2.5. The SC people in the know warned against platinum plugs and advised stick with “stock” plugs. But, once the SC is installed it’s impossible to access the plugs without yanking the blower out. So before it (the SC) goes in, I want to put in the most durable plugs I can (that still falls under the “stock” category). Thanks, PK |

Id suggest the OEM beru's. I doubt there is any "long life" spark plug. How long a plug lasts is largely due to your engine. A bad engine can leave deposits, glaze, or many other things to plugs.

Whats average life of an OEM plug? THanx for the repy, PK |
I think they say change every 60 or 90 thousand miles. But mine looked fine when I changed them at 90K (dont know if they have been changed before, but the ones that came out were OEM)
