Cryogentics and Brake Parts

Check this out. Has anyone ever done this to extend car parts?

Common with brake rotors.

Yep. I was skeptical at first but it's legit. I dig 'em. Go to: www.frozenrotors.com

Yep Frozen Rotors here too. I figure I should go through 3 or 4 sets of pads before my rotors need replacing, as opposed to 1 set with oem.

Ceteris paribus, cryo-treated rotors don't last three to four times as long as regular rotors. Different pad compounds will wear rotors at different rates. That is probably a more likely explanation of different rotor wear rates than the cryo treatment of the rotor itself.

I have a buddy that does competition shooting and he had this done to the barrel of his match rifle and swears it has made an improvement. Interesting stuff...
