Black LED Tail Lights
Does anyone have these or have you seen them installed? Just wondering how they look.

I have this light but in red and another led tail light that looks more OEM, I prefer the other lights because they appear to be OEM. The OEM appearing lights are much brighter than these. But in contrast these are brighter than stock lights.
All of the LED lights the 3 in this style and the OEM look LED lights are all sold on ebay.
Feel free to ask questions and there are pictures of my lights on the links in my signatures.

To deamber or not to deamber, that is the question i have been struggling with.
So what are the best replacements? LED? All red? Are the smoked lights nice? For side lights, are there "clear" and "crystal" side lights or are they "crystal clear".

Those are the LEDs I have. I love them.
Very OEM look and they are very bright.
And easy to install.
I recommend these 100%

the oem marker lights are smoked. I suppose some of those on ebay are clear though.

before you buy a "smoked" taillight on eBay ask the seller if the lights are DOT approved. I bought a set and the seller "forgot" to disclose this little fact to me :troll:

I like the 550 tail lights which are mostly red. I am against deambering the front cause the spattered omelet just looks bigger then.

LED Tail Lights
Personally I think the chrome LED tail lights look awesome on an artic silver Boxster. Here's a pic I stole from somewhere (sorry I can't give a proper reference).
I would love to get these for my car (it's silver), but I've had trouble finding a reasonable price on them. They used to be on eBay for about $200. But the chrome ones aren't on there anymore. Now the best price I can find is $300. Not sure who they're made by, but FK Automotive distributes them in Germany and Mimousa distributes them in the US. If anyone knows where to get these at a better price in the US, please drop me a line.
Kirk

+1 on this notion. Those all look so nasty...all those 'altezza' style lights.. So ricer/fast&furious style... might as well get some neon undercarriage lights and led nozzles. haha

See, even the supplier wont put them on his car. May I ask what else you supply, cause maybe we could buy stuff direct from you.
