The Blade

Snake oil. 100% snake oil.

This is so funny. I clicked on the button at the top that says how it works and this is what it says,
"Sabertec can not say with absolute certainly how or why the Blade works, as the Blade was not designed to achieve reductions of gaseous emissions or increases in fuel economy. Rather, the Blade was originally designed to filter particulate material from gasoline exhaust systems." That's funny, "we cannot say how or why it works"????  Sounds like b.s. to me. |

It looks like a bunch of BS

This is exactly my point. But it could still work.
For example, Propecia was originally a drug for enlarged prostate. When they gave it to patients they discovered that it also regrew hair on the scalp for men. They didnt know why it works, although they're several theories -but it worked. I'm just wondering if any of you used or knew anyone who used this product. |
I'm guessing that if it really does work, it restricts the exhaust, reducing power by increasing back pressure, which gives better fuel economy because the car can't exhale fully.
That's just my theory though. It might not even be accurate. This thing looks like nothing more than a money-wasting gizmo. |

Don'cha just hate it when your stick shift folds over? |
yeah, i dunno about all that.
anyone who promotes their product and has no idea why or how it works, no way in hell would i use it |

The testing data shows the oxygen sensor getting richer readings, the CPU then adjusted the fuel/air ratio accordingly. this is how the fuel economy is achieved. anytime you create an environment which changeds readings in the vehicles system it will have this affect

That is such a crock of poop that I am not even going to respond or reply
to it. Oh. Wait a tic! I just did! Darn it all. Best, - Mark PS: If any of you are tempted to buy that, be sure to get one (or more) of those Tornado things to put in your intake tract. That's sure to help out even more! |
With all of the time and money we spend trying to free up our exhaust systems...why on earth would you want to shove a cork in your tailpipe? Does it work? I dont know and dont really give a damn. My Boxster was not a purchase to save money on gas, even though it does much better than my SUV! I think this is the point in my post when I am supposed to mention something about a couple pennies.
|
Let's see... by corking the tailpipe I can save 20% on gas. I'll bet if we corked the tailpipe and the intake we could get 100% gas savings.
Nahhh! I think I'll leave the car alone and just go drive it. |
For those who like The Blade: I have a nice Ocean Beach property in Arizona for sale!
|
I use this device in conjunction with a tornado, gas-line magnet, slick 50 and an ounce of acetone in the fuel. This works so well I have to drain fuel from the tank about once a week to keep if from overflowing. I use the excess for the lawn mower.
