Passenger side litronic light is out...not bulb.

Hey guys,

I'm new here but I'm looking for some help. My recently purchased 03 boxster's passenger litronic xenon light is out. All the other lights work on that side. I swapped bulbs tonight thinking it's the bulb but it wouldn't light up. Does anyone know a website or place where I can purchase a ballast replacement or even worst, a litronic headlight assembly (passenger side)? I've seen a few online but I don't know if their assembly includes the washer nozzle jets like mine. Any advice would help. Thanks.

i would suggest going back, as those are not cheap to replace to my knowledge, hopefully someone that changed one chimes in.

Try swapping the ballasts so you will know if thats really the problem.

Have you checked the fuses?

A new headlight assembly? Thats pretty unlikely.

Good luck.

Check all the connections, clean them if need be. Check your fuse box, I'm not sure if both sides have their own fuse, but it's always a good idea to check.

Oh, and new or replacement headlight assemblies don't have the 'triangle' piece with the washer nozzles in it. You'll notice they don't come out when you remove the headlight assembly.

Another Austinite... Are you coming to Boxstoberfest?

I'll check all the fuses. I just find it unusual that all the other lights work on that side but not the headlight...even after I switched bulbs. I just thought it had to be a bad ballast then.

By the way, what is Boxstoberfest?

a lot of us had problems with the bulbs, its the one on the bottom that is high beam, and one on top that is low beam. kinda weird but thats what it is

And be sure that you swapped the right bulb, the low beam bulbs are on the top.
