Small rip in center top of plastic window

Hi all, I have had my 02 boxster for exactly 2 years now, I just noticed I have a small rip,tear,crack in the top center of the plastic window, though not really that big, I am afraid it will continue to tear and cause problems. My question is, can thi be covered inder warranty ? How does the warranty work for plastic windows, tops if any? Any help is apreciated,

I have a similar problem on my 01 Bosxter. I have been told by the Porsche dealer in NYC that the rear plastic glass in not covered under warranty. I have been told my members of this forum that an auto uplostry specialist should be able to replace the plastic for approx. $500.
