Custom Wheels for your Pcar
Before you drop big dollars on a set of aftermarket wheels you might want to try these guys. They'll make custom wheels to your specs which will be much stronger, lighter and cheaper than cast alloys from BBS.
Like an Easter chocolate bunny made from solid chocolate vs. a hollow chocolate bunny. c14 profile http://www.ccwheel.com/files/wheelprofiles.php http://members.rennlist.com/nj_gt/2006SCCANESolo-4.JPG http://www.ccwheel.com/files/gallery...996/c14/1l.jpg sp500 http://www.ccwheel.com/files/gallery...a/sp500/1l.jpg |
Good to know, but not much cheaper. A set of 18s start at $2400!

CCW is def not a cheap wheel, it was funny to read that ;) \
but definitely bad ass looking wheels |
I guess you haven't priced the Fiske, Champion and BBS wheels lately.
By the way, these are ONE PIECE FORGED WHEELS not cast alloys that will bend like a pepsi can when hit at the wrong angle. In either realm cast or forged, anything below $3K is considered a steal at 18" Weak dollar is making imports very very pricey. And these CC Wheels are being reported as being very strong AND light enough for track duty. I might look into a set of these for summer use and demote my Carreras to winter use, I don't think they will last for year round use without another 3 dents per seasons. p.s. I spoke to them on the phone and 8.5 is as small as they run for 18". But here's neat part, 20 pounds for a forged wheel  Lighter and stronger than turbo twists or other Porsche OEMs. |
