lowering springs
hey i have a 98 on 18's an want to lower it. how many inches gives a clean look? an dose any one recomend a brand of springs?

I have H&R springs on my 2001. I believe their website states that it lowers it 1 inch both front and rears. They are not adjustable. Here's a pic of mine.

Here's what the stance looks like with the RoW M030. It's supposed to be about an inch lower in front and 1/2 inch in the rear compared to the US cars.

@ JAAY,
What side skirts are those? |
Mine is lowered with Elibachs, I think I got a 2 inch drop.
My 99 is on 19 inch rims. More pictures can be found in the links in my signature. |
i love the look of a lowered car  but i've often wondered the q ... 'what/how am i defeating my car's ability to handle a dip, speed bump, pot hole ...etc.'
after you guys got bak from the drop shop, did you pull into your driveway different? i would imagine that your acceleration or some sort of speed variable would improve as the air turbulence/resistance would be reduced going under the car. thanks! |
I would go with H&R springs (roughly 2.5" drop) and Bilstien HD struts. Thats what I have.
