couple more 987 photos

Found these on http://www.theautobahn.com/ . These look more authentic.

Don't really like the wheels all that much. 18" carrera's are still the best looking IMO. They took off the rear air-diffuser/spoiler that is by the exhaust on the 03-04 boxsters. The rear diffuser made the backend look more aggressive and better IMO. The exhaust looks puny! The back otherwise is the same and the front looks decent

I'm not liking those wheels at all.

Front end looks much better but I agree with Adam. The exhaust looks ridiculous.

I much prefer this:

Ageed,^ the 987 looks too soft compared that.

Are those the same wheels that are on the new Carrera?

They look like it, but... all the info about the 987 so far seems to be speculation, since Porsche has not officially released details. I've read several times that the 911S should have 19" versions of this wheel standard and the speculation is that the Boxster S will have 18" versions of the same wheel. It also sounds like the official release of details will happen at the Paris Auto Show late in September. At that point we should all know whats up for sure.
