DeAmber Question

Hi,
I have been thinking about tinting (deambering) my headlights and side markers for a while. I have a few questions before I do so. My main concern is that the light will not show through the tint, what % tint do you guys use, and does anyone have a picture with the blinkers and foglights on through the tint?
Should I use transparent spray paint or the adhesive window tint?
Are there any negatives to doing this? Legality?
What color tint would look best on an Ocean Blue, dark blue, smoke, black, or silver tint?
Thanks! :D

Well the side markers are easy. Just buy new one. They arent expensive. The yellow in the headlights can be tinted with window spray tint, or tint from a hobby shop for the remote control plastic bodies. The light comes through, but depends how well by the number of coats you spray.

Do you think the tinting film would be okay?

Thanks! :D

I doubt it. The film is made for the inside to stay out of the conditions like rain and what not. I'd say it wouldn't be too long before it started peeling.

Maybe, I've seen precut deamber films for sale for the exterior but I guess the PepBoys DIY stuff is cheaper. Perhaps, I'll stick with amber it contrasts the blue nicely!
