It costs much more than $20K. More like ~$50K (still a relative bargain given it's performance).

I don't think I've seen a more a ugly supercar in my life.

It looks like they took the back end from a 430,the side from a Carrera GT,from end of a Aston Martin and a roof of an Enzo and made them ugly.

yeah it needs a little 'smoothing out' in the design department. Too bad GM doesn't run a custom car division to produce something like this. I'd love to see a mid engine Z06 engine and chasis but with a Ferrari F430 shell and some Saleen thrown into the mix (with airbags!). Think about it, all for less than the price of a fully loaded CaymanS.

I actually like it, It is alittle rough looking in some areas like the front bumper. i like what they did with the rear end, very close to being a McClaren F1 rear end.

$19k but no engine.

They claim you get a donor Corvette engine for $8-$10K these days. Works with a 993 tranny. Never thought I'd see those two things together in the same car.
But really...can you imagine Z06 engine over the rear axle? point and squirt with a .50 caliber shell.

Looks cool, but that front hood needs to go. The opening on it is way to big. Is it realy needed for cooling? Looks like it could be made with smaller openings.

Car and Driver

Check out the latest issue of Car and Driver. They do a comparo between three kit cars, I believe that includes this car from Factory Five Racing.

I talked to these guys back in the spring at a car show at Lowes Motor Speedway. They also make a Cobra type looking car and some others. They gave out a nice DVD with all their models on the track. The car actually looks pretty nice in person.

The C7 will probably be mid-engine, wait until 2010 and you'll be able to go to your local Chevy dealer and buy one for not much more than the top-end front engine ones.
