hahahah :p

cbenitah 08-22-2007 05:48 PM

not fake.. it is filmed in Sweden..

boxsterz 08-22-2007 08:00 PM

Totally fake. Airbags go off with explosive force!! Ask anyhow who's had one go off on them.

Besides, the triggers are calibrated for impacts greater than parking lot speeds.

I don't think an airbag would go off from a swinging purse. Some airbags don't even go off during minor collisions that cause actual damage to the car. It's either fake or there was something wrong with the airbag system in that car.

djomlas 08-23-2007 07:25 AM

one way or another, its freaggin hilarious

Hi, Regardless fake or not anyone who would honk at an old lady as he did is a jerk and deserves some type of aggravation .

MNBoxster 08-24-2007 08:50 AM

Hi,

Totally staged! Air Bags deploy at an avg. of 0.05 seconds. Also, Modern Cars (post-'99) use a very refined algorythm in their MEMS devices (triggering microchips) to reduce deployments at low speeds. That old Lady would have to Bench Press 350 lbs. to make an impact significant enough to trigger the bags.

Still, funny though...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99

I think it is real. She uses the "Barry Bonds" cream and the clear.
