I was browsing around other Boxster forum and I ran into this one....
It's a Porsche gathering .....
*I won't post the whole details but I just want to show how proud Iam of the Porsche but at the same time, I wish I have one of those car on the list...

I'm too intimidated to sign up :D

After having been to (place where Porsche usually meet) this weekend and seeing more Italian cars than Porsches , B**** and * figured it was about time we showed up there with 100+ modded P-cars.

The plan is simple as we'll meet for Coffee/Doughnuts at (dealers name) Porsche in dealers City @ 8am. We'll chit-chat drink up and then leave for (place to meet others) @ 9am and will arrive over there at around 9:30-9:45. If anyone has any ideas for lunch etc... let us know but otherwise we'll hang out there as usual and pick up on some of the "drives" that happen from there.

I should have taken that out at the first place :( ...It's supposed to be an inside joke...coz' most of them knows each other (Porsche owners and Italian Car owners)

There are other Boxster forums? Somehow that doesn't seem right...

yap...there are other Bosxter forum that exist but 986forum still one of my favorites and of course the #1 fav is the one in my area...gotta support the locals :cheers:

I see your point, I feel that way some about the DE coming up when I saw the list. Look at it this way, you'll have the market cornered if you go!

eslai, anyone that knows me knows that I'm Porsche through and through but I've owned/had and have many friends that also have Italian cars. It was meant in jest and if you read the context I just wanted to see more porsches at Santana Row than the usual F-cars and Lambos that show up.

Anyways, I wanted to let folks know than all Porsches are welcome... Last year I think we had about 15 or so Boxsters (not enough!).

I've spoken to Gail (Luis Aldaz' long-time partner) and we thought it would be appropriate to dedicate the whole event in memory of our favorite and sadly departed friend Luis Aldaz. There is no doubt he would have been the first person on the list and of course the loudest. Gail had the nice idea of us putting a small decal on in memory of him and so we'll be handing those out for you to place on your windows. RIP ole buddy...

As a side note, Modified Luxury & Exotics will be covering the event so if any of you budding camera-boys/girls want to submit some photos please do, otherwise we'll have a couple of seasoned pros there.
