CV Joint Boot Replacement

Does anyone have a good link to a tech guide for removal of the CV joints to replace the boots? I have two split I need to change ASAP and getting my hands on a Bentley manual is seemingly impossible with there being a shortage from the publisher for whatever reason.

That works for an inner boot but what about an outer? I have a broken outer and also havent been able to find a Bentleys, do you just unbolt the inner and then remove the axle nut for the outer? It might actually be easier as then you shouldnt have to touch the exhaust, any suggestions??

Come to think of it, that's the procedure I used when I did mine. I did mix it up a bit, though, because I had major difficulties getting the outer joint out of the hub. I'm 99% certain you could still do an outer the same way, you'd just have to remove the inner boot first (replace them all while you're at it).

Thanks, that's a good step by step. Also, could someone post the torque specs referred to? Thanks.

I found one of my outer boots split about 3 weeks ago, 1 week before my vacation (road trip). I installed a split boot without removing the axle. It's a little early for a longevity evaluation but after several hundred miles it still looks good.
