Anyone know how much a new convertable top costs to install?

Live in LA and looking for a place to install it.

If you already have the top, I'd suspect installation would be anywhere from $400-1000.

Check out auto upholstery shops in the area, they usually do convertible tops.

The prices range from $400 to $800 in West Palm Beach, FL.

Have you decided which top you are going to use? I have a Robins top that I am pretty happy with. Also, GAHH supports this site. Both manufacturers have approved installers all over the place and you can get the list off of Robbins website and GAHH will fax you a list of installers in your area. I called all of the installers in my area and got a pretty good idea of what it would cost to get the top fixed before I had it replaced.

If you are going with the Robbins glass top make sure that the installer does not scam you out of a few hundred bucks for the defroster hookup. The Robbins top comes with the wiring harness.

Hope this helps.
