Failed at the first step of de-snorkeling. some help please

ok so i tried to take the vent off so i could reach the tube and i failed. the bottom part of the blinds wont budge and i thinks i snapped one corner of the top blind. So what now. I took out the screw and wiggled everything to try to make it move. Im afraid il break something else. I even applied some wd-40 to see if it would loosen up. One question is can i pull the outer vent without pushing the blind or will that brake the brackets?

The blinds have little nubs on them that you can't see. Like many other Porsche parts, they unlock in a specific sequence. It's a gentle push in and then you move them laterally to release the nub from the hold. If memory serves correct, it's a down and to the left movement. As you already discovered they are delicate, so work it like a puzzle, gently and you should have success. Once you see it apart the reverse is easy.

Thanks for the help but i still cant push the blinds back. I even hit it with a hammer a few times. Softly but still it didn't budge. I know i have to start from the bottom but it just wont move and I dont't know how much stress that hing can take before it breaks. Im still going to try it but I just want to make sure its done right and i dont have to end up buying a new vent piece.
