any color listed would look good on a black car. if you went red, they'd look like Big Reds. I have a yellow 986 and painted the calipers yellow with regular paint. I didn't use the high heat because, years ago my dad painted his calipers yellow with the same paint I have and in 8 years it hasn't chipped or rubbed off or anything. I still need to get new stickers though.

If you're trying pass off a base for an S, those who know the difference already snicker at the non vented rotors or non-ceramic brakes. So why waste the effort?

Black will hide the dirt better, and may even help in heat dissipation.

Exactly, if you can't have fun then why bother. Bling away, but please bling responsibly

i really doubt that any of us are painting our calipers to looks like a S model or yellow to pass of as ceramic 8000 dollar upgrade, were mostly doing it do get rid of the brown colored ugly almost rusty looking calipers for something that will compliment the car...
but yeah, red would look nice, so would yellow.
i also think that orange would look reallllllly nice, i wanted to do that as well....for someone who has orange tail lights and headlights and side markers, it would really go well....

I have always been a fan of the yellow calipers, but remember "I've been known to have poor taste." lol

otherwise we would all be driving the same dam car! Why else would Porsche allow us to custom order their cars?
