remove negative in battery before take off door panel
 
does anyone know if i want to remove door panel to fix window, do i need to remove negative in Battery before i take if off?

Hello,

You don't mention what year your Box is, so here are 2 questions:

Do you have side airbags?

Do you want them to deploy?

Instructions #1 & #2 in Bentley for removing door trim panels:

- disconnect negative (-) cable from battery.

- wait 1 minute after disconnecting battery before working in vacinity of airbag.

If you haven't taken a door panel off the Box before, look for instructions because there are some hidden fasteners that will trip you up. You don't want to break anything. I seem to recall seeing some on the forum in previous posts. I used the Bentley manual and had no problems. You may PM me if you have questions.

hello, My boxster is 2000, it does have airbag on the sides.

It's a good idea to take the cable off.... make sure you have your radio code if you still have the factory unit.
