Boxster & S Front Bumper Question

Does anyone know what it would take to change a 987 box front bumper to a 987 box s bumper. Is it a bumper cover issue only or would you have change the entire bumper. Any idea of cost and best place to find bumper/cover. Thanks

Its only a cover, and the difference is the opening for the 3rd radiator. You can switch to an "S" cover for looks, but the point is having the 3rd radiator, which can also be put in.

boxster bumper changed out for a boxster s bumper

I had my 2000 boxster bumper changed out for a boxster s bumper... it cost about $120 in labor at the dealer (no more than a 1 hour job). It is an easy swap; it is just a cover. The only difference is the 3rd center opening, which looks better.
