				Non-Leather Seat Care

Hi, I don't have the 'leather' option in my boxster, but seat still look like a cheap thin leather. Should I put some Leather Cleaner / Conditionner? Or I'm better with something else?
I was looking at Zymol Leather Cleaner and Conditionner

'Cheap thin leather'? Boxsters come standard with leather seats, which aren't cheap by any means.

I believe you are talking about the soft look leather seat option that came with the full leather package were the seats look a bit scrunched up. That is by no means cheap that was a premium leather option people paid extra for.

Wow, those do look a little rough. Do the seat bottoms and backs have little pin holes throughout? If so, the seat and the back are leather "inlays", but the rest of the seat is vinyl...ummm..."leatherette".

Have used to many products to list but my favorite is 1Z leather care.
Even when the seats looks spotless I will get out a terry cloth towel and apply the 1Z leather cleaner only to see the towel come up really dirty.
Leaves the leather clean and new looking not at all greasssy. Try openroadmotoring.com

If the leather has gotten really hard you can use Leatherique Rejuvenator.

For conditioning the Porsche Tequipment product is very very good.

p.s.
interesting, your trunk and hood levers are black and not silver.

Note to anyone reading this thread in the future:

Dried puke on the passenger seat's center perforated base — whose acids have hardened the leather to a firm cardboard consistency, baking in the mid day sun day after day — cannot be reversed with Leatherique Rejuvenator.

Just thought I'd mention this. This did not happen while I owned the car, but I had to replace the seat to fix the problem.

I believe the sides of the bolsters and the back of the seats are vinyl. The only leather on the standard seats is the section you touch/sit in.
