nice ride man.
my GF has the same car, and i realllly like it, its very comfortable. good luck with it, it looks to be in a great condition

blkboxster 07-31-2007 07:01 AM

Very nice congrats

bmussatti 07-31-2007 07:50 AM

Very nice. Mercedes Star Mark program & warranty is great.

unklekraker 07-31-2007 11:17 AM

thanks Guys..
I was really impress on the condition of the car, it's like almost brand new. i just need to remove some of the hard water stain and clay it over the weekend...and yes, the warranty is great..will get my Service A for free :)

this car has the big brake already and it's one of those drilled rotor and the caliper itself has the Mercedes Benz name on it...

I was thinking of making it like a stealth...making all the lights euro black but for sure I'll get a clear side marker :D

Since there;s a mounting hole there already, i did my fist mod and it was my euro plate from my last Benz :D

unklekraker 08-01-2007 08:08 PM

thanks, nick! I don't know why I got the 2 door coupe at the first place. I'm just lucky that I know the owner of the dealer and he gave me a really, really, really good price to compensate my negative ($4k) on the other car and to top it off, the warranty he gave me was a dealer price. I was going for the WArranty Direct but they don't issue contract anymore here in CA.

djomlas 08-01-2007 08:51 PM

you should get the euro strip for it...it completely eliminates that ugly orange marker.
also, did you know that the calipers are also brembo?
when i was painting my GFs calipers silver, the logo was right there on top of the caliper.

there are some pics of her car in my signature link, blacked out grille and side markers with brabus wheels and flat star emblem instead of that big this sticking out from the hood hehe...im still trying to convince her to lower it ;)

unklekraker 08-01-2007 09:15 PM

what's the euro strip
I didn't know it's Brembo...thanks for info...i was like...deng :D

dude, send me a pix of your g/f....car, j/k :D I checked your album but her cars are all taken in the dark. DO you have one that I could see what you're alking about :o

djomlas 08-02-2007 06:40 AM

here, look at this car, see how it doesn't have any orange or any other colored side marker. this is the Euro strip, they come like that in Europe, without the reflector whatsoever, much cleaner. o i forgot, took the emblems from the back as well ;)
btw, i think lorinser makes a strip like that and many other companies.
the correct name is euro impact strip.
hopefully you see what im talking about hehe

or this C32 with the steering wheel on the wrong side

and this is her car, she said its a waste of money to buy that strip (girls lol) so i just painted it black for her and we took the bulbs out.

Nice car man! Next you'll be getting one of those boxy looking Benzo SUV's! Hehe... Now you have TWO cars you'll be spending mods money on. :D

blkboxster 08-02-2007 12:35 PM

when are we going to see both cars together :D

unklekraker 08-02-2007 03:10 PM

you are right conrad..i've already started hanging out at e-bay again..hahahahahaha!

as soon as i convince my wife to drive the other car..I'll snap both pictures and then let Djomlas do his magic :D :D :D

@dj...so you just painted the front grill and the side marker? I think I can't paint it coz' it would be hard to match the paint
Here's some pictures..can you do your magic so I could see what it looks like :o

djomlas 08-02-2007 08:58 PM

the grille was painted with Plastidip, its paint, but turns into kind of a rubberish stuff, but to the hand it feels like regular paint, so when rock and whatnot hit it they just bounce off, no chips, i painted that before winter, and lasted trough Chicago winter till now without any chips.

and side markers were painted black to match the color of the car. you can get a can of spar from paintscratch.com or other places that s4ell color matched spayrcans.

BTW, looks great in the sun
