Paint Touch Up

Hi, I got a 99 Red Guard Boxster, and I have a small chip on the front that I would like to Fix Up, where is the best place to get those Tuch Up paint thing?

At the dealer? or is there a better place?

the dealer's fine. i've had luck using Langka afterward to smooth out the repair.

These guys did a good job with matching the color of my Zenith Blue.

Plus they have clear coats, which I am not sure Porsche offers.

I used www.expresspaint.com.

I bought the 1/2 oz. touch up pen and kit.

The kit includes clearcoat, primer, wax and grease remover, masking tape, all kinds of sandpaper, etc etc.

Worked great on a few small chips on the hood.

How much do they get for a bottle of color + clear?

I've been told that the Guards Red is in fact "not" a clear coat... Anyone know for sure? I bought the touch up from Porsche and did not come with a clear coat bottle.

Dr. Colorchip

Way better choice. No affiliation other than a satisfied customer.
