What if someone did a 997 front with a smaller bumper? Might give it a pretty cool retro feel from the Porsche 550?

The lines are different -more edgy on the newer Cayman, whereas the 986's rear is more curvaceous. It doesn't make the car's design work as a whole.
Don't mix the generations. And if you're spending that kind of money on an upgrade... wouldn't a 987 be within reach?
