I saw the Kokeln FG version painted body color on a silver Box in Cary, NC, and I thought it looked very good.

Not sure if the other one would show up very well in black.

it would add 1.00008 HP on a day where the ambient temp was perfect with a NE wind and a barometric pressure of .00003 water condensation.

the 2nd one looks better although I'm not sure I would spend 400.
Better to use that money for skirting or a GT3 front bumper.

The 2nd ones for $289 a pair.

I bet the 1st ones will definately add alot more air coming in a prob a few hp because of it but you have to wonder about the other side where it pushes hot air out, that scoop design looks like it brings air in but maybe they forgot the other side pushes hot air out, looks like it would bring in more air than it would push out.

Actually, that's a common misconseption, the vent on the passenger side has a fan that pulls cooler air into the hot engine area when the car temp gets to a certain degree. I know this is true becasue the last time my car was parked in the garage and I heard the fan kick on, I ran over to it and held a paper towel up to it to see which way the airflow was going and it almost sucked it into the vent.

By the way, you can find the C.F. vent like that on e-bay for $199.00

No HP gain. The intake on the Boxster isn't like the "Ram Air" you're thinking of.
