beehive in my boxster

So I was reading desnokling thread somewhere here on the forum and decided to do it. Next day I get back from work take my tool box over to my car remove the grille pull out the snorkel……but see something all the way in the back next to air inlet still left in a car….so I stick my hand in there and pull it out….WOW its an old beehive!! After inspecting the snorkel I could see where it used to be attached so I took couple of pics….wow how long was that car parked before I bought it.

What concerns me more, is the fact that you rested the snorkel on the car to take the pic .......I hope no scratchies

Very bizarre find you have there

That beehive/wasp hive must have given you at least 10 more HP! I bet it pushed the air over and into the snorkle, I would glue that sucker back into place....just kidding. Very funny find. I would check your air filter and look for some dead wasp imbeded in there. I bet there are a few.

No worries I set it on my car very carefully so no scratches there....but bunch of little rock chips on from oh well it was meant to be driven and rock chips are part of experience I guess when buying a used car and its too late for a clear bra.....And I did check the air filter right after my big find and to my surprise it was nice and clean with just a little bit of dust which I vacuumed out....
