Will this lighwieght battery work good for my 987 base?

I have a 987 Base triptronic, not the fastest , so I plan to put a AWE exhaust, (15 pounds lighter than stock) a lightweight battery (almost 30 pounds lighetr).
Evo intake and chip GIAC.

I used the car mainly on Sunday morning drives in the twisty mountains.

Will this battery work for my car?

probably not since the battery wires on the porsches only accept male terminals and the battery you mention comes with female terminals. U would have to buy female to male terminal adapters to make it fit in the porsche.

Specs look like a motorcycle battery.

You can always make your own lightweight battery....

How about the power of the battery?

Where can I get the adaptors?

Thanks

Well assuming the female terminals are similar to the female terminals used on automotive batterys for cars like the Iroc Camero, you can get them at any autoparts store like pep boys or autozone.

As far as power, i have no idea.

Will this one be better?

Im worried about the power mostly

Those look fine but i dont know anything when it comes to ampage.

You'd probably have some trouble getting the factory mount to hold on to that battery.

motoadve 07-18-2007 03:56 PM

They sell an adapter

Well your covered there, try asking on the renntech forum, Loren would likely answer question in a flash.
