Should I?????????????

should i sell my box, and buy one of these, ebay item number 280129081043

It looks like a Micro Machine.

Jeph 07-10-2007 06:28 PM

I think those are pretty cool. Ugly, but cool.

No trade.

If you've already got a Cayenne, why would you want this? It seems like you should be asking if you should trade your Cayenne for that, to which I'd also say no.

Always loved the "G" wagon...extremely capable for a micro machine...Ha Ha

I was trying to fit a used one into the stable before settling on my 04 Land Rover Discovery.

In the end I saved a ton of money and I still wound up with a great truck...the last real (solid axle, CDL) 4wd Land Rover available in the states. I have had it since new and I am still loving it.

...I recently drove the Cayenne and just felt underwelmed...it was the base model, but did not inspire me for the dollars.

blkboxster - How do you like yours?

djomlas 07-10-2007 07:33 PM

ummmm...no.

My father had a g500, replaced under warranty with another g500, then when he had problems with that one; they offered him 20k off any other Mercedes instead of giving another g. He opted for a clk500 which he still has today. I do not remember the root of the problems, but it was lack of parts that made it easier for the dealership to replace it. He bought right when they were re-introduced to America for the last round.

I liked the g (nicknamed milk truck) though. It's ride was tight, it had 3 way locking differentials, brakes were great. It was very roomy, very offroad capable and caught a lot of looks.

Is it a 75k SUV? Only in pricetag.

IMO those things are UGLY.

steve00s 07-11-2007 07:34 AM

Boxster for a box with wheels. No way. Why would you want two SUV's and no sports car?

unklekraker 07-11-2007 07:56 AM

I agree with Steve & Jeph

You already have Sports Car (Boxster), Sports Sedan (M/B) and SUV (Cayenne)....

If I we're you, I would spend that money on how to drive your boxster to it's limit so you would enjoy it rather than sitting in the garage (8 yr. old car with 13k miles) you know that Boxster is not a collectible item, right :D :D :D

But if it's me..I'd rather see my garage with the Boxster and the G than my M/B coupe

The only reason to sell a Porsche is to get another one! :D

xxxalexxxx 07-11-2007 01:02 PM

blkboxster 07-11-2007 01:24 PM

(8 yr. old car with 13k miles) you know that Boxster is not a collectible item, right :D :D :D
