Most Embarrasing Crash Ever....
 
for those of you unfamiliar, GP2 is a racing series akin to 'Formula 1 Lite' (it replaces Formula 3000). the cars are all Dellara chassis with Renault conventional valvetrain motors making about 200HP less than F1 cars. a GP2 car will run about 3.5 seconds per mile slower than an F1 car on any given track.

at any rate, last week's race in France saw some interesting incidents. the first happened IMMEDIATELY when the race went green. the front row (P1 and P2) were team mates (timo glock & Andreas Zuber); they got off to an interesting start:

the second saw Ernesto Viso launch over a car, invert, and slam into / hop over a retaining wall. very scary stuff (rivals Kubica's crash). a local yellow was in force (no overtaking); Viso didn't see it and went to overtake. at the last second, he realized the speed differential between himself and the cars in the upcoming corner:

...in a second video everyone is just walking over to check on a crash....no hurry its just a bad wreck... weird :confused:
