What are your top few major tips on not getting ripped off by the dealer for everybody here. :) |
Top tips...
1. go to a non highway dealer. stores like that tend to have bad buisness habits. 2. Do research on the car or truck to make sure its in you budget. 3. When you go to the dealer go to do buisness. Dealers thrive on that on the spot delivery and will give you a better deal that way. 4.be realistic, dont expect to get a $50000.00 car for 25k and be at 250 per month. A typical discount is between 10-14% off of sticker plus any rebates that are offered.( this may vary at model end due to manufacture support) 5.Many dealers will negoate monthly payment, do not get caught up in this, this is a very good way for us to make more money becouse it takes your focus off the price of the car. Stick to price, then go to payment. |
