02/03 S Muffler differences?

Is there a difference between an 02 "S" muffler and an 03? Been planning on swapping mine out and it seems like I read they changed something for the 2003 model year but can't remember what...

Tip on 2002 is welded on. On 2003 the tip is bolted on. Some say they sound different but I can't tell the difference.
