dyeing the carpet
 

Does anyone think if I dye the car that it will hold up or would it be better to get a new one.. looking to dye black

I used to dye the black carpeting in my former 240Z...used Rit dye and a bit of salt...sponge on and let completely dry. I used to get a lot of sun fading due to the large hatch back glass. It held up pretty well and was inexpensive.

the black faded after dyeing it?
