 3rd brake light polarity

		Hello,
I have bought an after market 3rd brake light. Its not working, the instructions said something about removing a pin to reverse the polarity. I have no clue what they are talking about. Does anyone have pictures or clearer instructions on doing this. I searched the archives and could not find anything. Thanks for all of your help. Hary |

Hmm, I don't know about this "pin" they speak of, unless they're referring to swapping the pins in the connector.
There are only 2 wires that run to the 3rd brake light. All you have to do is cut the wires and switch them. It's quite simple. |

OR If you can find how the pins insert into the plastic connector, you can usually pop them out with a small screwdriver. Stick them in the way you need them, and you're done. No cutting needed. |

My aftermarket did not work either until I cut the wires and switched them. They work fine now. Not difficult, but an inconvenience nonetheless.
