Help Please

Check engine light came on late yesterday. Drove fine today BUT on freeway for a brief period I was putting out massive white exhaust. Mass Air Meter?

more likely it's your AOS (glorified PCV valve) based on lots of smoke. Go to autozone and get the codes read for free and post the #s they give you.

Can you open the oil filler cap easily when running? Pull the j-tube from the throttle body intake and see if oil is puddling there. If so, definitely AOS.

Do a search in the archives for it and how to replace. Not easy, but a DIY for $100 vs dealer replace at $300+.

Let us know.

Thanks

I trust your knowledge but not my mechanical skills. It's a Porsche cert used and I think they will cover at least part of the repair.

You were correct. Fortunately it's covered.
